COLOR STORY : CAYENNE

After Emerald Green, Radiant Orchid, Mint and Monochrome, the latest trend to hit runways and stores is Red Hot Cayenne. Similar to Coral, this color sure packs a punch. Like the chilly it is named after, the spice hits you in the beginning but leaves a sweet after-taste. The red is attention grabbing while the hint of pink keeps it feminine and Safe For Work.

Wearing this trend can be slightly tricky. While the shade is quite sweet, the hue can be very bold.

For the Bold: This alluring color can be worn from head to toe with a cute summer dress or pant-suit. Accessorize your All Cayenne look with gold earrings or a gold cuff. 

For the Less Adventurous: These fashionistas can accent their outfits with Cayenne accessories, bags, shoes, scarves or even throw on a Cayenne jacket over a work outfit. It’s best to stay away from clashing cayenne so we’d suggest wearing it with white, black or blue.

For the Timid: If you don’t want to draw much attention to yourself or are an all-black kind of fashionista, Cayenne nail enamel is the perfect way to still sport this trend. Cayenne is a very flattering shade for make-up and makes you look flushed and lovely. Cayenne lipstick is a favorite for an everyday work shade.
